Benefits of having an IDLT

If you travel abroad and need to operate a motor vehicle, you can use your IDLT (INTERNATIONAL DRIVER LICENSE TRANSLATION)*

More than 200 countries, including the USA, Mexico, France, Canada, Germany, etc., signed the "Agreement on Vehicle Traffic, Roads, and Safety" in conventions held in 1923, 1943, 1942, and 1968 in Vienna, Austria. These conventions were directed by the ONU. These conventions established the regulations for the international driver's license, so that foreigners can drive in the country they are visiting with a license from their country of origin, accompanied by an international license (IDLT).

**A person whose driver's license has been revoked or suspended from their original country cannot use the IDLT as a substitute.

**The person using an IDLT is fully responsible for being aware of the traffic laws of the country they are visiting
